Clinic owner / veterinarian
Susanna Käppeli loves her proffesion and therefore constant further training has a high prority. She is not only there for her clinical patients, but also involved in the animal welfare organization NetAP to help animals without an owner or chance of medical treatment. On a regular bases, she does castration campaigns in Switzerland and abroad. Besides performing suergeries, she also trains younger collegues. Dr. Käppeli lived several years in foreign countries and speaks multiple languages fluently.
Also besides her profession, Dr Käppeli loves the challenge. She is a passionate sports athlete and stays fit running marathons , paragliding or kitesurfing. Her open minded and positive ways of live are appreciated by her fellows.
clinic owner / emergency veterinarian
Andreas Pfulg has many years of experience as veterinarian. He is the manager of the clinic together with his partner Susanna Käppeli. Besides that, he is our emergency veterinarian outside the normal opening times and nights. His calm and understanding character are appreciated by owner, animals and team members.
He is also active with animal protection campaigns. In his free time, he loves to spend times in the mountains paragliding, hiking or being active with the three little dogs Flynn, Jamba and Jackie.
Veterinarian with special interest in Opthalmology and Surgery
Mr. Borosak is an experienced vet and had further training in Opthalmology and surgery. He was head surgeon in a Zagreb clinic and brings a lot of knowledge to our company. He is very caring and we apreciate his enthusiasm and humor. Mr Borosak originally is from Croatia and felt at home immediately here in Interlaken. Besides work, he loves to be in nature or practicing fencing sport. He became father in spring 2020 of the little Maurice.
Our enthusiastic vet Regula Hauswirth worked in her hometown Gstaad before joining our team in spring 2017. Besides her interest for the medical problems of the animals she also cares a lot for the concerns oft he owners which is highly apreciated.
Also her free time hast o do with animals, Regula Hauswirth and her family own a island pony ranch in Gstaad. She also likes to ski in wintertime and rock climb with her partner whenever there is time for it.
After veterinary school and her doctoral thesis at the university hospital in Bern in radiology, Bettina de Roche worked in several different vet clinics in Switzerland. The last 8 years in Münchenbuchsee. She is experienced in surgery and internal medicine. Originally Bettina is from Thun and she moved back to the Bernese Oberland region in 2018. Shortly after meeting, we realized that Bettina fits perfectly in our team. Not only because of her expertise as a veterinarian, but also with her outgoing and empathic personality.
In her free time, Bettina spends time with her family or pursues her passion horse riding.
Leading veterinary nurse / management
Tamara Lustenberger is our head veterinary nurse and takes over many administative tasks in our clinic. She also is responsable fort he education of out apprentice vet nurses and soon has a diploma also in accountance. This without neglecting our four legged patients.
In her spare time Tamara Lustenenberger loves to spend time on the back of a horse or with her dogs Ely and Mila. She is also involved in animal protection campaigns in Switzerland and abroad.
In our clinic, Brigitte Signer is an allrounder. She not only supports the vets in their work, but also takes care that the clinic is always clean and tidy or advises clients about our nutrition sortiment. She is a big animal lover and offers a home to many different animals like chicken, ducks, turtles, a dog or cats.
Daniela Lindner started her career in veterinary branch many years ago in our clinic. After working here, she collected experience in a Polar dog sledge colony on the Eiger-glacier. Bwefore returning in our clinic, she was working in a human hospital. We are happy to have her back! She is mother of two girls and loves spending time in nature.
Sophie Stadelmann startet her career as veterinary nurse in our clinic with her apprenticeship. We are happy she continues working with us after getting her diploma. She has a lot of talent, care and enthusiasm for animals and their owners. And she has a deep medical and professional interest and is specialized in veterinary anesthesia. Besides her job, she loves to do sports and to travel or to spend time with her dogs Wilma and Pauli.
Samira Kalbermatten is part of our team since summer 2016. She helps in all parts of clinic daily work, always with a smile and fully motivated.
She grew up in Valais and spends her free time doing sports in the mountains, often in company of her do ‘Antschi’.
Melanie Wyer loves the versatility, this profession has to offer. Besides the job in our clinic, she also works part time for a veterinary radiology specialist and she brings a wide range of experience. Not at work, she loves the outdoors. It can be hiking, swimming, mountains - being in nature brings her happiness.
Vet assistant trainee
Mia Maria Ragusa started her aprentionship as an Veterinary assistant in summer 2018. Already before that, she helped out in our clinic regularly. She is there, whenever her helping hand is needed and learns all aspect of this exciting profession.
Mia has roots in Italy and loves to spend time with her dogs and to pursue her passion for music, sometimes even as a DJ.
Vet nurse trainee
Julia Schmid was first in our clinic during an externship for three months. She became quickly a valued member of our team and in cooperation with the local kennel Tierpension Lanzenen, we could offer her an apprentionship as a vet nurse starting in Summer 2018.
Besides the everyday duties in a vet clinic, she is especially there for the hospital care of our stationary patients. Besides nursing, tender loving care is also very important so the animals get well again as soon as possible.
In her free time, Julia loves to go on walks with her French Bulldog Aura or likes to go dancing.
Past owner / founder Tierklinik Interlaken / Veterinarian for neural therapy
Bernhard Staehelin was one of the founders of Tierklinik Interlaken together with Dr Andreas Löhrer. Since his retirement, he still works as neural therapist for animals when we have cases for this indication. His good connenctions to animals and humans are well appreciated.
Vet assistant trainee
Adrienne Roth started her apprenticeship in August 2020. She regularly helped out in our clinic already before her start and is therefor already familiar with her future profession. She is an animal lover and a horseback rider in her spare time.
Past owner / founder Tierklinik Interlaken
Andreas Löhrer was one of the founders of Tierklinik Interlaken together with Dr. Staehelin. He was still working part time in the clinic for 4 years after the takeover in 2016 until he retired by the end of 2019.
